There’s apparently an uproar about Broad Universe’s decision that cis men can’t participate in the Rapid Fire Readings. The organization was founded to promote women and marginalized gender identities, and cisgender men certainly do not fall under that umbrella.
The incident in question involves folks that I really, truly like and respect, and I’m extremely troubled by how it’s playing out. I will also state flatly that I just became aware of this, and I’m trying to figure out what happened and why people are upset; one of the drawbacks to leaving Facebook is that I’m out of the loop on stuff like this until it bursts into my email. So I reserve the right to change my stance.
