Progress!

I just completed the basic typeset on a collection of short stories that have been published elsewhere. I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, so I’m really excited! Now I just need to figure out a title, an editor, and what wingdingy thingy to use as a separator. (I’ve already picked out my cover artist.) Easy peasy (knocks on wood).

I don’t have a release date set in mind yet, other than “by the end of the year”. I’ll update here when I nail down more items.

Next major project: I’m eyeing Secrets of the Sands, the first book in the out of print Children of the Desert series, and thinking of ways to run it as a series of blog posts with commentary on each chapter. The idea is to show how I’ve evolved as a writer, as well as giving readers a new look at old material. I might even be able to offer up a look at how I would write a given scene today.
